Food Boxes

Especially during Covid-19, it became extra important for us to keep up food security through our emergency food baskets.

Hope BloomsCommunity ProgramsFood Boxes

In 2020, we delivered 47,911 pounds of food supporting over 200 people weekly in our community.

In 2021 we doubled our numbers! Emergency gift cards, food boxes, subsidized markets, and prepared meals were some of the ways we supported our community through the Omicron outbreak.

A huge thank you to Community Food Centres Canada, The United Way, Medavie, Bell Aliant and to our amazing team of volunteers, led by Dianne Hussey.

Food is not just fuel. Food is about family, food is about community, food is about identity. And we nourish all those things when we eat well.
