Important Discussions for Youth Leaders

Each month, Hope Blooms hosts Dr. Robert Wright, a social worker and sociologist. He holds 3-hour interactive discussions for youth leaders around important topics such as:

  • Mental health issues
  • Identity
  • Race
  • Consent
  • Trauma
  • Self-care

The group workshops give Youth Leaders an opportunity to work through personal pressures and issues they are actively dealing with at school or on the streets.

Dr. Wright and his team also provide one-on-one and family counselling. These are organized on an ad hoc basis as needed, within the Hope Blooms community.
